The Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index® for 2015 was released. The index includes more than 2.3 million surveys capturing how people feel about and experience their daily lives.
Are you thinking about moving to Florida? The Sunshine State now ranks #12 which is up from #26 in 2014.
According to the report, the index is based on 5 elements:
“Purpose: Liking what you do each day and being motivated to achieve your goals
Social: Having supportive relationships and love in your life
Financial: Managing your economic life to reduce stress and increase security
Community: Liking where you live, feeling safe and having pride in your community
Physical: Having good health and enough energy to get things done daily”
For 2015, here are the states that scored the highest in well-being, according to the index:
