Indian Rocks Beach has almost 3 miles of beautiful beachfront along the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is very accessible with over 20 points of entry along Gulf Boulevard. There are several parks and recreational facilities offering tennis courts, basketball courts, ball field, dog park and a newer state-of-the-art skateboard park. Just off Gulf Boulevard is the Indian Rocks Beach Nature Preserve. This 9.3 acre preserve, offers a walking trails, a boardwalk, fishing pier, nature center, wild life observation areas and more.
If you want to learn about the area and local legends, visit the Indian Rocks Beach Historical Museum. The historical society does a wonderful job of collecting, preserving and sharing the history of Indian Rocks Beach. The community also enjoys the Beach Art Center. To meet the cultural and artistic needs of the community, the center offers many art classes, workshops, and special event demonstrations.
For dining and entertainment, there are several great restaurants, cafes and bars along Gulf Boulevard. Locals can come to enjoy quality food, relax with a cold one while hearing good music, or even dance the night away.
